Letter of support for Justin Trudeau

Dear Justin,

You have recently garnered national attention for calling Peter Kent ” a piece of shiddle diddle” (not actual word) in the the house of commons.  As a Canadian who is deeply concerned about respectful debate,  I find your comments refreshing.

As you know, right now, there is very little debate going on in the house of commons. In fact there is very little room for any dissenting opinion anywhere.  The Government’s decision not to fund opposition MP’s travel expense to the Economic Summit in Durban, ( a tradition going back 20 years), is yet another example.  The Enviroment minister, Peter Kent , then added salt on the wounds by chiding opposition MP’s for not being there.  This gleeful mocking of the opposition’s powerlessness is definitely the work of a douchaybagle and a futtwick.

An M.P. willing to call someone a piece of poodle-noodle (pretty close to actual word) shows a passion and a backbone that is reminiscent of some other politician whose name escapes me right now.  In any case,  keep up the good work.  There’s just too many lippy ditty cockletwads in politics.

Merry Christmas
