Toronto’s less than Great Day
I just think the standard for what constitutes a ‘great’ day should be higher than, “Hey, our mayor won his appeal so he’s keeping his job.” Aim higher. Great days for cities and their mayors should be defined by the mayor doing their jobs.

Watching Rob Ford struggle to maintain his job as mayor for what by itself seems like a rather benign breech of protocol, motivated by a sense of charity more than anything, has been like watching a grown man drowning in a wading pool. You can’t help but wonder how he ever got there in the first place and why on earth can’t he just pull himself out of it?
